error username password

hello,
after starting cocoadmin.bat, and entering the username as sa and password as ***. i got an error-check classpath: thought.cocobase.cocobaseexception: cbmessage=connect failed in database sql.coremessage access is denied.

when tried with other user name it says user does not exit.
can any one help me..

Have you tested the jdbc driver standalone with the same connection settings, driver, url, user & password? Did you see any other exceptions in the command console where CocoAdmin launches?

CocoBase is simply doing a standard jdbc connect, identical to what you would do with your jdbc driver raw. So as long as the classpath is correct, the connection parameters are correct, it should just connect.

If you have connection problems, double check the command console and then you can copy and paste any exceptions from the console to us.

If you have a timeout, it can produce this exception as well, but the console should produce a more detailed message.
